It all began with a single cazo.

El Pueblo is a meat market, taqueria, and deli located in downtown Winters, California. Serving as a pocket market, El Pueblo has a variety of Mexican and American breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, raw and cooked meats, marinated meats, seafood, fresh produce, and a full salsa bar!

Opened on cinco de mayo 2005, El Pueblo Meat Market, Taqueria/Deli is a family-run small business owned and operated by the founders, Baldomero and Elia Arce. Immigrants from southwest Mexico, a place known for Carnitas, Baldo and Elia got their start using a single cazo and sticking with the old recipe. Soon enough the two, along with their three children, Inesita, Judith, and Osbaldo, opened El Pueblo on Main Street!

To this day, Baldo and Elia ensure that each cazo de Carnitas is made to perfection. Come by and say hi to Baldo, the head Carnicero, and Elia, the head of everything else.
